Ambient scribing is the AI most practices meet first. Dragon Copilot and Nabla listen to a consultation and produce a note, and they work — but what they produce is only as useful as the record it lands in and the protocol it is written against.
The harder question is what happens next. Aidoc and Viz.ai support clinical decisions, and Clearstep triages before a patient arrives. Each of those depends on records that are consistent between clinicians and on protocols that exist in writing rather than in practice. Where a condition is documented three ways by three clinicians, a tool reading those notes learns three conditions.
There is also a governance dimension the software will not raise with you. A clinician who cannot say what the AI used to reach a suggestion cannot properly supervise it, and in clinical work supervision is not optional.
This assessment weights Process and Data most heavily. It asks what is true of your documentation, your protocols and your systems, and then says which clinical AI tools can operate on that today.
Every industry is scored against its own targets. Process and Data carry the most weight here, so a gap in either costs more than the same gap would elsewhere.
Your report says which of these to buy now, which to wait on, and which are held back by something you have not fixed yet — and which of the ones you already pay for are underperforming.
